Every booking is unique and i will always listen to the requests of the party organiser(s) regarding styles of music and when it is right to play what.
My speciality as a club DJ is student nights in the week and ‘Main Room’ on weekends – this means you will always find me playing a mix of the latest dance and chart music along with some classic hip hop & RnB and occasionally some older tracks if the mood is right. It also means i don’t mind throwing in a bit of the cheesy stuff if that is what you and your guests want (after a few drinks!)
I’m experienced playing everything from UK Funky House to 80s to Chart to Dubstep and everything else imaginable in full clubs across the country and i have those ‘hard – to – find’ tunes that you might want if you have guests who are into their underground music. I have no problem mixing the genres up for the occasion to make sure we can cater for every guest’s requests!
Left to my own devices i would usually start off the night with slow RnB and chart music while people enter the room (eg. Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars), this will be played at a low level. Once the guests have had a few drinks the volume will increase, i will start using the mic and i will start mixing the latest upbeat chart, RnB and hiphop eg. Jason Derulo, Usher).
Once everyone is on their feet i will get them all on the dancefloor smashing out the latest dance, house and electro tunes with vocals that everyone will know (eg. David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia), live in the mix.
I will usually play some anthems in the last 45 minutes to keep people interested till the very end and hopefully get some of the parents or older generation up on the dancefloor too (eg. Robert Miles, N trance).
If you want to talk to me about music feel free to get in touch.
